Where does my money go?
Your sponsorship funds the long-term vision: an independent open-source firewall that keeps getting better. In practice, it pays for the infrastructure that delivers IPFire to users around the world, the build farm that compiles and tests every release, and the developers who write the code and ship security updates.
How do I cancel or change my sponsorship?
Log in and come back to this page. Your sponsorship is shown at the top, where you can change the amount or cancel. Changes take effect immediately.
Can I make a one-time donation?
Yes. Choose "Other Amount or One-Time" above.
Do I get an invoice? Is it tax-deductible?
Yes. You receive an order confirmation and an invoice for every payment, and VAT is shown on both. Sponsoring is a taxable service, not a charitable donation, so we can't issue a donation receipt. For companies, the invoice is a regular business expense and is generally tax-deductible. Please check with your tax advisor for your situation.
Which payment methods can I use?

Why do you need my address, and is my card data safe?
We need your address for the invoice and payment verification, and share it only with our payment provider. Card data never touches our servers.
Do I need an account?
Yes. An account lets you manage or cancel your sponsorship and find your invoices. If you can't or don't want to create one, write to donate@ipfire.org and we'll find another way for you to sponsor.
