Log

Core Update 184

  • Very little/almost no feedback
  • Should be ready for release this/next week

Core Update 185

  • Suricata 7
    • Requires testing whether JA3 rules are working now
  • We will keep this open for another 7-10 days before we close the merge window

Btrfs

  • This feature is currently under development
  • We can snapshot systems before updates and can easily roll back

Location

  • As on the agenda

Infrastructure

  • A new server is on its way to HAJ after a hardware failure on an older one
  • It will run on ZFS for better usage of our cheap physical storage
  • The VMs have massively been reconfigured to take advantage of underlying storage features
  • There is a lot better Git housekeeping
  • There is a new time service running on chrony - even with NTS
